INDUSTRAILS [ 2014 ]
“INDUSTRAILS” es una serie de 10 xilografías que representan el paisaje industrial en torno a la vías férreas de las cuencas mineras de Asturias, y un trabajo experimental en el que se investiga la combinación de la talla tradicional con tecnologías de corte láser y fresado por control numérico. Las diez estampas vienen recogidas en un contenedor de madera diseñado y fabricado por el autor, y también están disponibles para su venta por separado.
“INDUSTRAILS” is a series of 10 woodcuts depicting the industrial landscape around the railways of the Asturian coalfields in the north of Spain, as well as an experimental work that investigates combinations between traditional hand carving techniques and technologies such laser cutting and CNC milling. The ten pints are collected in a wooden container designed and manufactured by the author and are also available for sale separately.
